His life and his experiences are connected to the Balaton highlands. Authentic places and details, in non-traditional processing, are given a special emotional charge in his pictures. In his painting, he strives to recreate the grandeur of the experience. His graphic works emphasize clarity and expressiveness with subtle means (book covers, illustrations, caricatures).
Drawing teacher, painter, graphic artist, born in 1949 in Tapolca. After the dominant environment of Tapolca and the Káli basin, he finished high school in Veszprém, then graduated in drawing and biology in Pécs. Since 1974 he lives and works in Balatonfüred.
His works are regularly exhibited in group and solo exhibitions in Balatonfüred, Budapest, Székesfehérvár, Veszprém, Nagykanizsa, Csopak, Tihany, Badacsonytomaj, Aszófő, Zánka, Balatonakali, Kaposvár, Berlin.
In June 2003 he received the Pro Comitatu Award of the General Assembly of Veszprém County in recognition of his outstanding pedagogical and artistic work over several decades.
